LSE C.R. Parekh Fellowship
C.R. Parekh Fellowship is provided by London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) with the support of Nirman Foundation. Applicants should be scholars in the social sciences with experience of research on India. They should hold a PhD - the fellowship is not intended for students registered for a degree or diploma, nor is it intended for senior academics. The Fellowship is provided for the candidates from India only.
The Fellow will be expected to engage in social science research broadly on the themes of Economy and Society in South Asia with a particular focus on the following themes:
The Fellow will be expected to finish a piece of research of publishable quality during their stay and make a presentation at a seminar or lecture arranged by the Asia Research Center.
Duration :
The Fellowship will be for a period of three months and will be based at the LSE Asia Research Center (ARC)
Fellowship Amount :
The Fellow will receive a monthly subsistence allowance of up to £1,500 a month, the exact amount depending on qualifications, and will also be provided with shared office space and access to research facilities at the School.
