The Faculty of Science Scotland of University of Strathclyde provides India Big Data Scholarship for all postgraduate taught applicants from India who have applied to the MSc Advanced Computer Science with Big Data.

The Faculty of Science investigates the challenges and possibilities of the natural and technological world, from drug discovery and public health to environmental concerns, tackling cybercrime and understanding space.

Based in the heart of Glasgow, Scotland's largest city, the University of Strathclyde is home to students from over 100 countries, offer over 200 postgraduate programmes which include MSc, PgDip and PgCert accreditations.

Scholarship Description

India Big Data Scholarship scheme offers 10,000, towards the tuition fees for one year of full time postgraduate taught program.

Eligibility

Candidates must :

be an international fee paying Indian applicant
have applied for the MSc Advanced Computer Science with Big Data

Demonstrate:

excellent academic performance (current and/or previously gained)

any relevant extra-curricular or professional experience and career development

willingness to contribute to the overall academic, cultural and experiential profile of the programme cohort

Candidates can only apply for this Scholarship once they have been made an offer of study. Successful applicants will be contacted after the deadline.

Documents required

Certified copies of qualifications eg degree certificate and transcripts (showing the subjects taken and your grades). If still studying, provide a transcript of results so far
If qualifications are in a language other than English, please provide official translations in addition to the copies of the original documents
If English is not the first language, please provide a suitable English language test certificate (if appropriate), for example IELTS
A copy of your passport (if you are a non EU overseas applicant). The passport is required in order to obtain the Certificate of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) statement which allows to apply for the Tier 4 visa to study
A copy of your sponsor letter/scholarship award (if appropriate/available)
Copies of any other documentation to support your application such as a CV, Personal Statement, Portfolio (for certain programs)
