King's College London offers King's India Scholarships for Indian students for pursuing their research programs at King's College London. Candidates must be due to commence an M.Phil/PhD research degree program at King’s College London during the academic year in one of the eligible Faculties/departments (outlined below).

Faculties/Departments: Dental Institute; Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine; Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing & Midwifery; Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience; India Institute; and the Faculty of Natural & Mathematical Sciences.

Subject covers: Physics, Medicine and health related studies, Mathematics, Informatics, Health sciences, Chemistry, All Subjects that fall within the remit of the King's India Institute.

Scholarship Details

Scholarships covers international fees, bench fees (at £5K) where applicable & stipend.

Note: The scholarship cannot commence prior to September/October

Eligibility Criteria :

Must be citizens and permanent residents of India at the time of application
Have submitted all the required application materials by the funding deadline
Students who will pay tuition fees at the Home/EU rate are not eligible
Existing research degree students are not eligible to apply
These Scholarships cannot be held on a part-time basis
Students, who will not be commencing an M.Phil/PhD in one of the faculties/departments, as listed above, are not eligible
Professional doctorate degrees are not eligible
Distance learning programs are not eligible

How to apply

In order to be considered for an award, candidates must:

First, apply to King’s College London for a research degree program using the online admissions application (https://apply.kcl.ac.uk/)
Submit an online international student PGR funding application form to the Graduate School by the funding deadline.
