The National University Senior Research Fellowship is awarded by National University, Singapore. The Fellowship is for talented researchers from around the world, to pursue research in social sciences and humanities.
The Fellowship will be awarded on the basis of relationship of the research topic to Asia Research Institute's (ARI) specific cluster of research as listed in Research Clusters and Their Focus. Applicants should mention the particular Research Cluster to which they are applying. If there may be more than one research interest, they may list one primary and one secondary cluster only (not more than two).
The Senior Research Fellowship will be for a period of two years at the first instance, with the possibility of another term of two years based upon evaluation and funding availability (i.e. up to a total of four years). During this period the recipients are expected to submit a working paper (not more than 10,000 words) to the ARI Working Paper Series. Candidates are also required to participate actively in research activities including seminars, conferences and ARI social events.
Amount of fellowship
The Senior Research Fellows will receive a competitive remuneration of at least S$6000 per month.
Other benefits that the University provides travel assistance, support for research fieldwork and conference attendance (on application and subject to approval).
