Newcastle University in partnership with the British Council’s GREAT campaign provides Great India Scholarship for Indian students. These awards are available to high achieving students applying for entry onto a postgraduate degree programme, commencing their studies in September of the current year.

Scholarship Amount

NUIS PG Scholarship worth £5,500 will be awarded to 3 Indian students, payable towards the first year of tuition fees.

In order to apply for Newcastle University Great India Scholarship Postgraduate, the candidate must satisfy the following conditions:

The university will award on the basis of best qualified students and the final decision lies with the university.

English Language Requirements
English Language requirements are different for each course and should be check with the University before applying. As a guideline, the university usually require an overall score is between IELTS 6.0 and 6.5, or equivalent. 

How to Apply

Application forms are available in the website of Newcastle University (http://www.ncl.ac.uk). Applicants must complete the application form electronically including a personal statement of no more than 500 words.

NUIS PG scholarships are not automatic and the candidates need to apply by submitting the application form. Before applying, they must have been offered a conditional/ unconditional place to study at the University.
