Umea University is offering scholarships for international students from all over the world for pursuing Master's degree programs at Umea University in Sweden. This is a general scholarship opened for talented and high-achieving students admitted to one of the following Master's study programs.
Subject area: Accounting, Advanced Product Design, Business Development and Internationalization, Chemistry, Cognitive Science, Computational Science and Engineering, Computing Science, Ecology, Economics, Environmental Archaeology, Finance, Fine Arts, Geo ecology, Human-Computer Interaction and Social Media, Immediate Architecture Intervention, Interaction Design, IT Management, Management, Marketing, Molecular Biology, Physics, Plant and Forest Biotechnology, Public Health, Public Health (one-year master), Robotics and Control, Spatial Planning and Development, Sustainable Architecture Production, Tourism and Transportation Design.
Duration of Scholarship: Scholarship is offered for the duration of the program
Selection Criteria: The University select the candidates on the basis of student's academic merit.
Scholarship Description
Selected candidates receive a full or partial reduction of the tuition fee. Tuition fee vary depending on the course and program. For most degree programs and full-time studies tuition rates range from SEK (Swedish kronor) 90,000 to SEK 140,000 per year, depending on the field of study. Programs in architecture, design, and fine arts range from SEK 175,000 SEK 270,000 to SEK 335,000 per year.
Candidates with citizenship in a country outside European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA) are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Candidates can apply for the scholarships through the online. Online Application form is available in the institute website. Candidates must also have completed the application for admission to master program before the last date .
