Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation (ABC) Limited, a Government of Andhra Pradesh undertaking, is introducing “Bharati Scheme for education after Intermediate” (BS-EA12) for the poor Brahmin students in Andhra Pradesh. Under this scheme, specific amount shall be paid to the selected applicants as one time financial assistance through the prescribed process.

Objective :

To encourage poor Brahmin students pursue education after Intermediate with one time financial assistance.

Scope :

This scheme is applicable for students of Andhra Pradesh covering all 13 districts, who passed their Intermediate examination in the current academic year of May

Eligibility

The student and his parents should belong to Brahmin community and reside in Andhra Pradesh.
Annual income of Parents / Guardian should not be more than Rs. 3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs only).
Should have appeared for Intermediate examination in any of the 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh in the current academic year of March and passed Intermediate Examination in May
Should have got admission in any Degree College in Andhra Pradesh.
Should not have availed himself/ herself any amount under any other Government scheme for the same purpose.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates shall fill their application online (www.andhrabrahmin.org) in the prescribed format given in the website. (In case of any difficulty, contact Toll Free No. 1800 102 3579)

Applicant should upload the scanned copies (in pdf of maximum 250Kb size each)of the following documents:

Aadhar Cards of the student and parents / guardian.
Caste certificate issued by competent authority
Income Certificate issued by competent authority.
Marks Sheet of Intermediate Examinations.
Copy of SB Account in Andhra Bank (account must be in the name of applicant)
Passport size photograph (in jpeg format)
Proof of admission into any Degree College in Andhra Pradesh.

Selection process :

Scrutinizing, short-listing and finalization of applicants shall be done by the State Level Committee (SLC), giving priority to the following categories:
- Orphan
- Single mother
- Physically challenged
- Girl student
- Economically very poor

Beneficiaries will not exceed 10% of total from any district as far as possible.

State Level Committee is authorised to make exceptions in the eligibility / selection process and their decision will be final.
