Junior Research Fellow program is provided by Anna University Chennai at the Centre for Biotechnology. The Fellowship program is provided only for one position of Junior Research Fellow for its Dept. of Science and Technology for Govt. of India sponsored ongoing project on “Differential effects of 20-HETE (Hydroxyeicosatetraenoic acid) in mediating VEGF (Vascular endothelial growth factor) and NO induced changes in tissues by distinct signaling mechanisms” sanctioned to Dr. C.D Anuradha.
Research Areas
Research experience in Cell signaling and sound knowledge in Vascular Biology and work experience in Hypoxia/reoxygenation models is desirable
Provisions
The Fellowship is for 3 years‚ and provides:
Fellowship is awarded for only one fellow and will be paid a stipend of Rs.16000/- per month and Rs.4800/- HRA.
The candidates should have First class M.Tech/ M.Sc (with NET/SLET) /M.Pharm/ M.S (by research) degree in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry / Molecular Biology.
Candidates should submit the duly filled application form along with respective certificates through post before the last date. The candidates should write their correct Date of Birth, Qualification, Experience publication list and Postal address in the application form. Eligible candidates will be called for interview at Centre for Biotechnology, Anna University, Chennai. Interview date and time will be informed to the candidates through post or e-mail . Applicants appearing for interview should bring all original certificates in support of their qualifications.They have to appear for the interview at their own cost.
