Care Foundation is an NGO registered to Care Foundation Trust working for educating India qualitatively and also quantitatively. Care Foundation Trust annually organize scholarship examination in school level and national level for poor and meritorious students in India. The scholarship will be awarded to the meritorious children those who are/ will pursue in science stream in plus 2 levels. The scholarships are given on the basis of written test to the students studying as regular students in class X/XI/XII in government, government aided schools and private unaided school. Weightage will be given to the Economically Underprivileged Children.

Scholarship Amount
The amount of scholarship is proposed to be Rs. 6000/- per year @ Rs 500/- month.

Eligibility for Care Scholarship

An awardee is eligible for the care scholarship provided he/ she must

Takes up studies in approved courses.
Maintains good conduct as certified by the Head of the Institution and continues his/her studies as the regular student in an affiliated Govt/ Govt aided / private school.
Does not absent him/ herself without proper leave.
Takes up study on whole time basis.
Does not take up any job.

Note :
No scholarship shall be available for studies abroad for any course.
No claim for scholarship arrears will be entertained after expiry of 12 months of the academic session for which one has applied for the claim.
In case any awardee fails to submit his/ her annual report from the Institution by stipulated time, the scholarship will be automatically discontinued.
Scholarship once discontinued on the basis of the rules cannot be revived under any circumstances.
All rules are subject to change time to time as and when required, by the Care Foundation Trust, which will be binding on all awardees.

Care Scholarship Application Procedure

Application form for Care Scholarship can be downloaded from the website www.carefoundationngo.com.

2 copies of passport size photo
Current and last one years academic performance duly attested and stamped by the
institution head / Principal
Student I/D card ( photocopy)
Identity proof of parents (attested copy of Aadhar card/ Voder ID card/ PAN card/
Passport / Bank A/C etc.)
Family income certificate.
Bank A/C no for the student / parent.
DD/ online transfer through NEFT/SWIFT

Care Scholarship Selection Procedure

Each school will have to conduct the test on their own on the prescribed date (usually in the month of September) based on prescribed question paper supplied by the trust. The Trust will provide uniform set of guidelines to the entire schools/examination centre for carrying out the examination and promote evenness of evaluation. The 2 hour test consist of a total 120 questions. There will be 25 questions each on subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and 20 questions on G.K. and logical reasoning.

The selected candidates from each school have to appear for the second level test to be conducted in the state capital /nearest examination venue (which will be declared later according to the choice of the majority examinee). The 180 minute 2nd level Care Scholarship test will consist of

Mental Ability Test (MAT)
The duration of MAT is 90 minutes and it consist of 100 MCQs testing verbal, nonverbal meta cognitive abilities like reasoning and critical thinking, knowledge of English, GK, and current affairs and Environmental studies.
Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
The 90 minutes SAT test consist of 100 MCQs covering subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.
Children with disability will be given extra time as applicable.

Care Scholarship Disbursement

The awardees will be asked to open joint Account with parents in State Bank of India, which has core banking facility.
The scholarship will be paid annually after the one year report from the institutional head and all the necessary documents.
The administration of the trust will scrutinize on regular basis for the proper disbursement of the scholarship.
