The Government of Tripura provides Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship for Economically Backward Students. The objective of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to the Economically Backward Students at post - matriculation or post - secondary stage to complete their studies.

The Government of India has launched a new CSS "Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship for Economically Backward Students" from 2014- 2015

Scholarship amount

The amount of scholarship will depend upon the course of study of the applicant which covers Rs 160/- to Rs.350 Per annum. Correspondence students are eligible for an annual allowance of Rs.900/-per annum. The scholarship covers maintenanace allowance, reader charges for blind students, study tour charges etc

Eligibility Criteria

Applicant should be

Indian National belonging to general category
Domicile of Tripura
Studying in Classes 11 to Post graduation.
Have Parents'/Guardian's income not exceeding INR 1,00,000 lakh per annum

Selection:

Students are selected on the basis of merit in all classes.

Enter your details in the application form Click to submit.
An application id and password will be generated on the computer screen and an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number. Enter OTP number and confirm. Change the password at the time of the first login for security purposes
Enter all the details and upload the documents needed
Click on 'Final Submit' to submit the application form
After online submission, the duly filled-in application with the documents must be submitted to the Head of the Institution, last attended or being attended by the applicant and should be addressed to an officer specified for this purpose by the Government of Tripura
