G.P. Birla Educational Foundation is providing the Scholarship to meritorious students, male or female, from West Bengal to help them in pursuing their further educational studies. The scholarship has been established to carry forward the cherished dream of Late Shri G. P. Birla, the renowned Industrialist and Philanthropist, to advance the education, to expand individual resources and empower the youth of the Country.
Subject Covers: Candidate can study any stream such as Science, Humanities, Engineering, Medicine, Architecture, Commerce, Law, Chartered Accountancy, Company Secretary Course in any recognized University in India.
Scholarship Amount
G.P. Birla Educational Scholarship is provided for 65 selected students for 1year at a time and to be continued till completion of the Course and will be renewed on yearly basis, subject to the satisfactory performance by the candidate in the preceding year, as evaluated by the Trust. The amount of Scholarship is Rs. 50,000/- per student per year, which covers tuition fees and Hostel Fees, (if applicable).Additional onetime payment of Rs. 7000/- towards purchase of Books in 1st Year shall also be given.
(a) The Candidate should have passed 12th standard examination from
the recognized University in India
(b) The Candidate should have secured minimum 80% marks or more from State Board or 85% or more from Central Board or have secured rank in top 15000 in AIEEE/JEE/AIPMT Tests
(c) The candidates must be in need or required financial help to pursue further studies
Selection :
The applications of the candidates will be reviewed by an Expert Panel of judges of the G.P. Birla Educational Foundation. The decision of the Expert Panel will be final. Candidates are short listed and called for an interview.

Applications may be forwarded through the Head of the Institution from which the Student has passed Class XII or where he has taken admission.
