Malana Power Company Limited (MPCL) and Vidyasaarathi together provides MPCL Scholarship Scheme for students pursuing any ITI course like Electrician, Turner, Fitter etc. i.e.(10th+1, 10th+2). Institute should be affiliated by National Accreditation Board for Education and Training (NABET).Preference would be given to students from the state of Himachal Pradesh. This scheme is not applicable to MPCL employees and their children.

The Malana Power Company Ltd. (MPCL) is India's first Merchant Hydro Plant.It's an 86 MW project located in Kullu in Himachal Pradesh and has been generating power since the year 2001.

Vidyasaarathi is a technology-enabled initiative by NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited (NSDL e-Gov) to bridge the gap in education finance in the country through an online platform. Students can search and apply for various education finance schemes they are qualified for. Fund providers, industries, and corporates can promote skill development by designing education finance schemes in Vidyasaarathi and manage these schemes.

Due to unaffordable and increasing fees structure of the higher education in India many students misses out on the higher education due to lack of funds. Those students that are willing to pursue higher education and need financial support can use Vidyasaarathi platform to avail the required financial support. Students seeking for education scholarship can search and apply for various education finance schemes that they are qualified for.

Eligibility Criteria :

Student who are pursuing Full time I.T.I Course (eg: Welder, Electrician, Carpentry etc.)
Students possess minimum 35% in class 10
Students family income is between 0.00 - 500000.00

Scholarship

Successful candidates will be eligible to receive a scholarship of Max. Upto 20000.00 . Student should have an active bank account, as the Scholarship amount would be transferred to students bank account in case of reimbursement.
