National Computer Indian Talent Olympiad (NCITO) is an examination which is conducted by an Indian Talent Olympiad in schools for class 1st to class 10th across India. In an academic examination, students just memorize the things and answers to score good marks, this creates problems during higher studies. Concepts are not cleared for particular subject or particular topic, and student skips that subject/topic because student has created ‘phobia’ in their mind.

NCITO is an examination which helps the students to nurture their talents enhance academic performance. NCITO helps students to understand the concepts which will help out them to identify their skills, and indirectly improvement will be seen in academic performance.

Details of Awards

In case of level 2 exams, ranks will be accorded on the following:
National Rank 1: Rs.1,00,000 for 5 Students.
National Rank 2: Rs.40,000 for 10 Students.
National Rank 3: 5 Students will be awarded with Laptops.
National Rank 4: 50 Students will be awarded with Tablets.
State Rank 1 to 10: Merit certificate +Gold Medal + Scholarships will be awarded.
State Rank 11 to 25: Excellence Award  + Medal will be awarded.

Eligibility Criteria
Students studying from class 1st to class 10th are eligible to give this Olympiad examination.

Exam Pattern & Duration:

For class 1st to class 10th exam duration is 65 minutes.

Syllabus

NSITO follows all the boards (i.e. ICSE, CBSE, State board & International board for each class 1st to class 10th.

Division of marks in question paper section wise:

There will be two section in each question paper for every class.
Section 1: In this section the questions will be from their respective academics to test the understanding of fundamentals.
Section 2: In this section the questions will be based on logical reasoning, problem solving skills & analytical skills.
Class 1-4:
Section 1: 25 Marks (25 questions); Section 2: 10 marks (10 questions).
Class 5-10:
Section 1: 35 Marks (35 questions); Section 2: 15 Marks (15 questions).

INDIAN TALENT exams:

Top 20% of students, class wise who appear for the 1st level exam. Due priority to marks scored in different sections will be given.
Class topper, where at least 10 students from a class appear in the exam, & scores at least 50% marks. In case of section wise registrations, Class toppers will be from each section where participation in each section exceed 25 nos.

2nd level exam will be held for Science, Mathematics, Computer and for General Knowledge for students from class 1 to 10. In case two or more students score same total marks, ranks will be awarded to student scoring higher marks in sections accorded higher priority, as under.

Criteria:

Total Marks scored in level 2 exam.
In case two or more students score same number of marks, ranks will be determined on following criteria:
Marks scored in sections in level two exam accorded higher priority, then total marks scored in Level one exam is considered.
Marks scored in sections, in level one exam, accorded higher priority.
In case two or more students score same marks under all the categories above, they will be awarded the same rank & scholarship amount will be shared among students.

IMPORTANT TERMS REGARDING NATIONAL RANKS:

According to the Indian Talent Policies, National Rank 1 & National Rank 2 winners' scholarship amount are divided into certain years. The divided scholarship amount will be provided to the scholarship winner till the limit of the scholarship amount's extents.

The National Scholarship is aimed to provide Educational Benefits to extraordinary performing students. For the same reason, the Indian Talent Management has set the policies to split the National Rank Scholarships in certain years.

Application & Selection Process

Indian Talent sends Brochures/Prospectus containing the registration forms every year to the registered schools. So, school can participate by registering their students from Class 1 to Class 10. Schools can register by filling the hard copy of the registration form sent along with the prospectus. New schools can get the Prospectus/Brochure by sending a request to: info@indiantalent.org or by Calling Office Toll-free no 18002669192. Schools which are registered already with Indian Talent and new schools can also directly register by visiting Indian Talent Olympiad’s official Website: www.indiantalent.org

Indian Talent In-charge Teachers, fills the registration form of school & enrolls the student names as per the guidelines given in the brochure/prospectus. After the form filling & enrollment process is over from the school’s side, these forms are sent to Indian Talent Olympiad’s office at Mumbai on or before the due date of registration.

After the Registration process is completed from the side of Indian Talent, the Question Papers & OMR sheets are sent to the respective registered schools as per the Exam schedule. There are two Rounds of Examinations at National Level.

National Computer Indian Talent Olympiad Examination Fees:

A participation fee of Rs.150 per student for each exam has to be collected by the school to meet the cost of the examination. The school will retain Rs.25 per student per Indian Talent exam for the expense of exam.

Mode of payment:

The concerned school has to send the consolidated amount collected from the students Rs.125 per student per exam of Indian Talent to the Indian Talent account vide Demand Draft in favor of "INDIAN TALENT" payable at Navi Mumbai.

OR

School have to register online through Indian Talent Olympiad website.

In case two or more students score equally in all sections, they will be accorded same rank & scholarship amount will be shared among students.
