Bhavishya Jyoti Scholarships is one of the India's most recognized and trusted scholarship test with 25 years of market presence. The Bhavishya Jyoti Scholarships is the largest IT Scholarship programs, launched by NIIT in 1991 to provide financial assistance to deserving and meritorious students. The scholarships are aimed at preparing students for a successful career in Information technology by enrolling them to industry-endorsed NIIT programs. Being a BJS Scholar, apart from giving a sense of accomplishment about partially funding for the education, one can also qualify for the best jobs and make their resume directly available to top companies. More than 3.3 lakh students have benefited from the Bhavishya Jyoti scholarships program and launched their careers successfully in the Global IT industry.

NIIT will award BJS based on the performance in class12, written Bhavishya Jyoti Scholarship Aptitude Test and Personal Interview.

The scholarships are applicable only for the program enrolled for by the candidate during the validity period of scholarship offer. The benefits cannot be deferred or extended for upgrades, or program extensions in the future. The courses to which the candidates are finally admitted under the scholarship benefit are restricted to the programs semesters/ courses that are offered at the participating NIIT centre and courses offered under the Bhavishya Jyoti Scholarship.

The scholars can earn Merit Scholarship up to Rs.50,000 based on thier Bhavishya Jyoti Scholarship Test and Class XII performance.

Eligibility Criteria for Bhavishya Jyoti Scholarship

All students who have completed their Class XII examinations with more than 60% marks and polytechnic candidates are eligible to apply for the Scholarships. They must be 23 years of age or below at the time of application.

Bhavishya Jyoti Scholarships are applicable to students from the following streams:

Students pursuing B.A/ B.Com/ B.Sc./ B.Tech with more than 60% marks
Engineering and other IT students of BCA/ BSc (CS)/ MCA
Engineers & Other Fresh graduates
Polytechnic Students
Students having completed Std XII (Awaiting college admission)
Students pursuing post-graduation programmes

Aspirants have to submit two passport-sized photographs and attested copies of their class 12 marks sheets at the time of applying for the scholarships. The hall ticker number will be given from the NIIT centre after the above documents have been verified. This will be the number that the candidate will use in all future correspondence with NIIT before his/ her enrollment.

Bhavishya Jyoti Scholarship Examination

Bhavishya Jyoti Scholarship test, applicable for select programs only, will be conducted on all across NIIT centers in India, supervised directly by NIIT personnel.
