Oil India Limited (OIL) provides OIL Awards & OIL Merit Scholarship for students who passed Class X & Class XII Board Exams in the current year from Schools/Colleges located within OIL operational areas of Dibrugarh , Tinsukia, Charaideo/Sivasagar (falling under Moran OIL field) of Assam , and Lohit and Changlang districts of Arunachal Pradesh.
• For OIL Awards:
Students securing Rank in HSLC/HSSLC/ Equivalent Arunachal Pradesh
State Board Examination, from schools / colleges located within OIL operational
areas of Dibrugarh , Tinsukia, Charaideo / Sivasagar ( falling under Moran OIL
filed ) of Assam, and Lohit and Changlang districts of Arunachal Pradesh can
apply for OIL Awards
• For OIL Merit Scholarship :
Students passing class X & class XII examinations with the following cut-off
percentage from schools / colleges located within OIL operational areas of
Dibrugarh , Tinsukia, Charaideo /Sivasagar ( falling under Moran OIL filed areas
) of Assam, and Lohit and Changlang districts of Arunachal Pradesh can apply for
OIL Merit Scholarship.

candidates can download Application Pro-forma for OMS from OIL website

Interested students can forward their application in
the given format to Deputy General Manager (PA), Oil India Limited,
Duliajan on or before the deadline.
Candidates should attach self attested photocopy of original mark sheet . Copy of mark sheet downloaded from Internet must be countersigned by School / College Head with office seal.
Candidates applying for OIL Awards, must furnish photocopy of respective Board / Council’s circular declaring his / her rank, duly attested by School / College authority .
Exam name should be correct. Stream (for class XII) must be mentioned. Both total marks as well as percentage should be furnished .
For service holder parents, applicant must mention name of organisation / company where father / mother employed, else application will be rejected.
OIL Employees’ Children aare requested not to fill up this application format and Application format meant for them is available in Public Affirms Department, OIL / OIL Intranet Portal OILWEB
SC/ST/OBC/MOBC candidates must produce certificate from competent authority duly attested by Gazetted Officer. Candidate’s claim to belong to any of the above category without proper certificate will not be entertained
Students from BPL families should produce attested copy of BPL Card issued to father or mother by State Govt . Tempered or overwritten BPL Card , Certificate issued by any other agency, Card in the name of any other member of the family will not be considered.
PWD (People With Disability) students should mention type of disability and attach certificate from competent (Medical) authority.
Candidates are requested to open Bank Accounts before filling up this application submitting application for OIL Awards & OIL Merit Scholarship, and furnish bank details along with a copy of passbook
Filled in application pro-forma in closed envelope super scribed as APPLICATION FOR OIL Awards & OIL Merit Scholarship , should be submitted to DGM ( PA ), Oil India Limited, Duliajan on or before deadline of application
Candidates should clearly furnish the following information on top of
the envelope :
i) Name of Examination , ii) Type of School - Urban /
Rural (for HSLC pass- outs) , iii) Stream ( for Class XII passouts),
iv)
Caste Category.
Complete and correct address for communication must be provided. Or OIL will not be responsible for loss of cheque / bank draft issued.
