VIT University, Vellore is a reputed International Institute .VIT University provides Scholarships for Indian students pursuing their Master of Technology (M.Tech) program offered in various disciplines at Chennai and Vellore campuses.

Scholarship Description :

Monthly stipend of Rs 4000 for top six GATE scores in each M.Tech program. Top VITMEE / GATE scorers will get a stipend of 3600 Euros (ie. `2.40 lakhs) for a double degree programs in Communication Engineering from UAS, Darmstadt, Germany (under DADD fellowship) and in Sensor Systems from UAS, Karlsruhe.

For M.Tech (Nanotechnology) - Student Fellowship of Rs. 12,400/- p.m per student and a Contingency of Rs. 15,000/- p.a per student
will be given for the first 20 students admitted to M.Tech Nanotechnology, provided by DST (Nano Mission Council).

Eligibility Criteria :

Applicant for admission should be of Indian national and should have graduated from institutions in India.
Candidates should have graduated with a full time degree from any recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% for M.Tech degree programs
Consistent record in X and XII Std is necessary.
Candidates appearing for their final degree exam/final semester exam in the current year are also eligible to apply.
