Important Dates

 JNUEE 2024 is a university-level entrance exam conducted once every year. The examination is conducted for candidates seeking admission into various undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), M.Phil, P.hD., and integrated courses at JNU across 14 Schools.

JNU admission 2024 to UG and PG courses will be on the basis of CUET and CUET-PG scores respectively. MBA and Engineering courses admissions will be done through CAT and JEE Mains. Later, JNU will conduct counselling for various courses. You can check the respective exams for desired course admission in Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Eligibility

Bachelors

Senior School Certificate (10+2) or equivalent examination with minimum of 45% marks. The candidates who are due to appear in Senior School Certificate (10+2) or equivalent examination are eligible to apply.

Master of Arts

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline under 10+2+3 pattern of education with at least 50% marks

M.Phil.

Candidates must have a master’s degree in the related subject with a minimum of 50% marks.

Ph.D

Only those candidates shall be considered for admission to the Ph.D. Programme who have –
(a) Obtained 2 years M.Phil Degree with at least 55% marks of a recognized University/Institution (with dissertation/seminar/viva) or one year M.Phil with 55% marks with additional one year research experience of a recognized University/Institution and one publication and 55% marks or equivalent in Master’s Degree/BE/B.Tech. OR
(b) Master’s Degree/BE/B.Tech with 55% marks or equivalent Grade ‘B’in UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent Grade in a point scale wherever Grading system is followed).

Age :

The minimum age to appear for the exam is 17 years.

Selection Process

In the event of their selection, candidates will be informed about their selection and their admission will be subject to the following conditions: -

• Equivalence of their qualifications as prescribed by the University for Various Programmes of study.
• Production of Student-Visa/Research Visa (as the case may be) in accordance with the revised visa policy of Government of India as also a Xerox copy of their Passport together with the original documents for verification.
• All the original academic documents
• Medical-cum-Fitness Certificate
• Insurance of Rs.1.00 lakh (minimum)

Total marks :  100
Negative marking :  Yes

How to Apply

Candidates could fill JNUEE 2024 application form in online mode till November 20, 2024. Here are some guidelines for completing the application process of JNUEE 2024:

Step 1: Registration

• Visit the official website of Jawaharlal Nehru University
• Click on the link “Application form- Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination”.
• Create their login ID by providing details – name, programme of study, valid email address, valid mobile number, nationality, date of birth and password.
• Candidates will be sent their application number for JNU admissions on the registered email id.Download Information Bulletin and Replica of Application Form. Read these carefully to ensure your eligibility.

Step 2: Fill details in the application form

• Login on the official website of Jawaharlal Nehru University by providing their JNU application number and password.
• Fill in the personal, educational and contact details asked in the application form.

Candidates can pay the application fee through debit card/credit card/internet banking or e-Challan of SBI bank. The application fee for JNUEE 2024 is non-refundable.Ph.D, M.Phil., M.Tech., MPH, MA, MSc., MCA, PGDE

Gen/OBC : Rs 415/- (Rs. 215/- for BPL)

Choice 3:

SC/ST/BPL/PWD : Rs 1000/-
Gen/OBC : Rs 500/- (Rs. 300/- for BPL)

For B.A (Hons) 1 and 2nd year programs/All part time programs

Choice 1:

SC/ST/BPL/PWD :  Rs 400/-
Gen/OBC : Rs 265/- ( Rs.110/- for BPL)

Choice 2:

SC/ST/BPL/PWD :  Rs 575/-
Gen/OBC : Rs 375/- ( Rs.125/- for BPL)

Choice 3:

SC/ST/BPL/PWD :  Rs 750/-
Gen/OBC : Rs 380/- ( Rs.180/- for BPL)
