Subordinate Accounts Service(SAS) Apprentices Examination, 2010

On 26 th & 27 th June 2010
SSC organizes a screening exam for the selection of Section Officers in the Central Government Departments on annual basis. Those candidates, who want to become section officer with the Government of India, must start toiling to get success in the examination.Candidates selected through SAS Apprentices exam will be appointed as Section Officer Accounts after passing the Departmental Subordinate Accounts Service Examination.

 Date of Examination : 26 th & 27 th June 2010
 

Age Limit:18-27 years as on closing date

Educational Qualification:
The Candidate must have university Degree in Honors or MA/M.Sc./M.Com or Diploma of Chartered Accounts and Costs and Works Accounts from recognised institutes/organisation as minimum qualification.

Nationality/Citizenship:

A candidate must be either:

(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January,1962,with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar),Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b),(c),(d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by he Government of India.

A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination but the Offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by Government of India.

How to Apply :Apply Online at SSC website at http://www.ssconline.nic.in. However, Those who wants to apply offline can still send their Applications in the format prescribed in Notice, to the concerned Regional/Sub-Regional Office only against the centre selected by the candidate. The envelope containing the application must be superscribed in bold letters as “Application for SAS Apprentices Exam 2010, and the name of the Centre from where the candidate intends to appear should be written in capital letters at left side corner of the Envelope.
