Mode of Examination
NIMCET examination will be of two hours and question paper will consist of 120 multiple choice questions with four choices for each question in Mathematics, Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness and General English.
Each correctly answered question will carry Four marks and each wrongly answered question will lead to Negative One mark. The candidates have to mark the responses in the OMR sheets at the time of examination.
Candidates have to bring their own HB pencil, eraser and black ball point pen. Calculators, mobile phones or any other electronic gadget are not allowed in the examination hall.
Exam Pattern
>The question paper will contain 120 multiple choice
questions covering the following topics:
1. Mathematics 45 questions
2. Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning 40 questions
3. Computer Awareness 10 questions
4. General English 15 questions
Test centres
Test will be held usually in the following centres: NIT Agartala, NIT Allahabad, MANIT Bhopal, NIT Calicut, NIT Durgapur, NIT Hamirpur, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Jalandhar, NIT Raipur, NIT Rourkela, NITK Surathkal, NIT Silchar, NIT Srinagar, NIT Surat , MNIT Jaipur, NIT Tiruchirappalli , NIT Warangal, AIT Delhi, NIT Kurukshetra, Bhavan’s College Andheri, Mumbai, NIT Patna , Kolkata.
