Dolphin (PG) College of Science & Agriculture (formerly Dolphin (PG) College of Life Sciences) started functioning on 2006. The college is sponsored by the Yuva Education Society- New Delhi. It has grown to its Present stature under the able and dynamic leadership of Managing Director Dr. VINOD MITTAL. Dolphin (PG) College is an independent, coeducational,premier institution provides opportunities to the student community to make mark as Life Sciences/Agriculture professionals and to transform & globalize their personalities. Currently the College offers 16, Post graduate and Undergraduate courses in the field of Life Sciences & Agriculture Sciences.

 Hostel Facility
At Dolphin College there are separate accommodation for boys and girls, which varies from double occupancy to four in a room. There are one residential hostel for boys and two residential Hostels for girls. There are 150 seats in hostel for boys and 150 for girls. The entire hostel complexes ensured with 24-hour security, maintenance, power & water supply. The hostel provides a Bed, a mattress, a study table, a chair and a cupboard for each student. Every hostel has solar heated water facility, water cooler, common telephone, common TV room, common reading room etc. The Wi-Fi internet facility is available to students. First Aid Medicines are kept ready in the hostel. Adequate dining facilities are available for all students. Mess caters variety of food to suit all tastes.
 
 Scholarship Facility
1) Early Seat Reservations (ESR) Scholarships- Admissions open in the college in the month of June each year and classes starts in the month of July . The students who register their seats in the college for admission to pursue the course can avail the benefit of this scholar ships . College offers scholarships as per schedule below if student register seat for admission in new course before the month of June. 2) Economically weaker section (EWS) scholarship:- The students whose partents total annual income is below 1.0 lac those students gets scholarship of 20% per year in tution fee . However student has to deposit income certificate of parents along with the affdavit by parents .This scholarship will be given to 10% seats of the concerned class on first come first serve basis. 3) Single Girl Child(SGC) Scholorship:- Single girl child will get a scholorship of 25% per year in tution fee.However an affidavit is to be procedded supporting the single girl child. 4) Rural area resident (RAR) Scholorship:- Those students,who have completed there studies continuosly from class 1st upto class 12th from a village/rural area school,can get 10% scholorship per year in tution fee. This scholarship will be given to 10% seats of the concerned class on first come first serve basis. How ever on prescribed format(as attached in prospectus).The students has to deposit rural area certificated from Headmasters/Principal of school/College counter signed by Tehsildar. 5) Protsahan Scholorship(PS):- The student whose father has demise due to unfortunate event and mother does not has regular income source,the student can get 25% of scholarship per year in tuition fee. This scholarship will be given to 10% seats of the concerned class on first come first serve basis.

The Placement cell facilitates the process of placement of students passing out from our college in various prestigious organizations. The goal is to achieve 100% placement.. In previous years more than 38 companies have been visited the campus for holding campus interviews of which some are Ind-swifts Labs Ltd., Mohali.
