workers as their employees. The remuneration in this field will depend
upon the organization in which one works for, their experience and the
area of work. Even though there is no fixed pay scale for this profession,
one could get an initial pay of Rs 4,000 to 5,000 per month depending
on the organization.
The pay package of corporate houses is more than that of government agencies.
Those in the field of teaching profession can have a pay scale of Rs.
7000 to 8000 per month. Those who are working with NGO's and Government
projects can earn a monthly salary of Rs 8000 to Rs 10000. Salaries and
perks are higher in International NGOs. The Social Workers who are running
their own NGOs also get handsome earnings.
