Deakin University, Australia provides Doctoral Scholarship for outstanding and meritorious Indian students to study PhD in Australia.

This Scholarship is a full-time on-campus PhD scholarships for outstanding and meritorious India-based postgraduate students planning to study in Australia will have more reason to choose Deakin for their Higher Degree by Research.

The scholarships will support research projects focusing on specific research themes and help prepare a new generation of global leaders with the skills to address real and complex challenges facing the world.

Scholarship Description:

Up to eight scholarships are available which worth a collective AU$1.2 million.

Successful students will receive funding, including tuition costs, for three to four years to pursue doctorate level degrees at Deakin, coupled with education in innovation, leadership and other curricula designed to advance their capacity to drive ambitious change in an increasingly complex world.

Eligibility

Students who have completed their 10th grade/SSC exam in the current year from Andhra Pradesh. They should also have scored 90% or obtained 9 CGPA in their 10th Grade/SSC examination. The cut off mark for students with disability is 75%
Students whose family annual income is less than Rs. 2 Lakhs

Selection Procedure

Scholarship winners will be selected based on academic merit in qualifying degrees, any prior research experience, publications, alignment with strategic research priorities, and any other relevant criteria to Deakin’s PhD program.

These prestigious scholarships will be available all year (from current year) to students from the aforementioned disciplines with no application closing dates.
