Edinburgh Global Masters Scholarships for International Students is offered by the University of Edinburgh. The University of Edinburgh offers a number of scholarships for distance learning Master's scholarships for postgraduate study in any subject offered by the University. The scholarships will be awarded to students who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis. Each scholarship will cover full tuition fees and will be tenable for three years.
The scholarships are targeted for nationals of Angola, Afghanistan, Bangladesh,
Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodiam, Cameroon, Central African Republic,
Chad, Comoros, Congo, Dem Rep
Côte d'Ivoire, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gambia,
Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, India, Kenya, Kiribati, Korea, Dem Rep,
Kyrgyz Republic, Lao PDR, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania,
Mongolia, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nepal, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, Papua New
Guinea, Rwanda, São Tomé and Principe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands,
Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Timor-Leste, Togo, Tuvalu,
Uganda, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, Vietnam, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe .
The scholarships will be awarded to students who are nationals of countries out with the EU who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for a postgraduate Master’s programme of study at the University of Edinburgh.
Applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending to do so.
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, the overseas equivalent of a UK first-class or 2:1 honours degree at undergraduate level or the international equivalent.
Eligible applicants should complete an online application form.
Please note you will not be able to access the online application form unless you have applied for admission to the University of Edinburgh.
The online scholarship application form is located in EUCLID and can be accessed via MyEd our web based information portal at https://www.myed.ed.ac.uk
