Pace University provides merit-based scholarships to international students for pursuing undergraduate program. The aim of the scholarship is to help families see how much merit aid is granted to students based on their academic achievements. Merit-based scholarships are available to international students who apply as first-year applicants and exhibit academic promise.

Scholarship Details

Pace University offers a substantial amount of merit and need based scholarships and grants. Standard Fees include the General Institution Fee, Student Activities Fee, Technology Fee, and Healthcare Services Fee. This figure will vary depending upon residence, room, and meal plan. Resident students live on the Pace campus in Pace housing, commuter students do not.

Note: Pace University reserves the right to change tuition, fees, and room and board rates. When determining financial aid packages, we take into consideration the total cost of attendance, which includes fees not paid to Pace such as books, spending money, and transportation costs.

Eligibility

The candidates must bean international student (any student studying at Pace University who is neither a U.S. citizen nor a U.S. permanent resident). University-sponsored scholarships are awarded to students on the basis of academic merit, service to the community and financial need. To be eligible, students must be admitted as matriculated students in a degree program.

EnglishIn proficiency required : In general, a minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based version), 213 (computer-based version), or 80 (Internet-based version), a minimum IELTS score of 6.5, or a Pearson PTE academic score of 54 is sufficient to demonstrate the required proficiency in English for admission directly into Pace University programs.

SAT/ACT scores required :

SAT-Old Score (test taken prior to March of previous year): Score of 500 or better on the Critical Reading section

SAT - New Score (test taken after March of previous year): Score of 560 or better on the Evidence Based Reading and Writing section

ACT - Score of 20 or higher on the English section

How to Apply

International students must complete the same application for admission as domestic applications. There are, however, additional forms and information required from international students in order to be considered for study at Pace University. Documents Required:

Send a photocopy or fax of your valid passport/national identity card displaying your photo and name.
Two letters of recommendation from a teacher or counselor who knows you well and can attest to your academic potential and personal characteristics.
One essay/personal statement, approximately 250-650 words in length, which will assist the Admission Committee in reviewing your application. The essay/personal statement you submit must consist solely of your own original work
Official test scores and other educational materials must be sent directly from the testing authority or institution.
Official transcripts, diplomas, and leaving examination scores from secondary and post-secondary schools (in English).
SAT/ACT scores must be submitted with the application for scholarship consideration for first-year students.
Students who will graduate or have graduated from a high school in a country where English is not the official language and for whom English is not their first language must present proof of English proficiency by submitting scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or Pearson PTE academic that are no more than two years old.
