Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation (ABC) Limited, a Government of Andhra Pradesh undertaking offers “Gayathri Scheme for Academic Excellence (GS-AE)” for the poor Brahmin students in Andhra Pradesh. Under this scheme, topper of the school / College / Institute for the course will be recognised with certain amount through the prescribed process.

Obj ective :

To award the topper of the recognised and reputed School / College / Institute for his academic excellence in SSC/ Intermediate or equivalent / Graduation / Professional Education Course / Post Graduation for the Academic year (current year)

Scope :

This scheme is applicable for students of Andhra Pradesh covering all 13 districts, who were the toppers of the recognised and reputed School / College / Institute for the academic year (current year)
in SSC/ Intermediate or equivalent / Graduation / Professional Education Course / Post Graduation.

Scholarship Details

Scholarship awarded for topper of

SSC (10thClass) is Rs. 7,500/
Intermediate or equivalent (Polytechnic, ITI, etc.) (at the end of Final Year) is Rs. 10,000/
Graduation (at the end of Final Year) is Rs. 15,000/
Professional Education Course (at the end of Final Year) is Rs. 20,000/
Post - Graduation (at the end of Final Year) is Rs. 20,000/-

Eligibility

The student and his parents should belong to Brahmin community and reside in Andhra Pradesh.
Must be a regular (Full Time) student of the final year course during the academic year (current year)
Should be the topper of the Graduation / Professional Education Course / Post Graduation) Institute
The toppers of SCC / Intermediate or equivalent and Graduation should completed the course completed the course Andhra Pradesh.
Should not have availed himself/ herself any amount under any other Govern scheme for the same purpose.

Selection process :

Short-listing and finalisation of applicants shall be done by the State Level Selection Committee (SLSC).

How to Apply

Eligible students shall fill their application online (www.andhrabrahmin.ap.gov.in) in the prescribed format.

Applicant should upload the scanned copies (in pdf of maximum 250Kb size each) of the following documents:

Aadhar Cards of the student and parents / guardian.
Caste certificate issued by competent authority
Passport size photograph (in jpeg format not more than 50 kb size)
A certificate issued by the Head of the School / College / Institute, indicating that the student is topper of the school / College / Institute for the course for the academic year (current year)
Copy of SB Account Passbook in Andhra Bank (account must be in the name of applicant)
