Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham offers B.Tech. Scholarship for first year B.Tech students. Scholarship Based on Amrita Entrance Examination-Engineering Rank (AEEE).
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham conducts entrance examination across the country annually for admission to B.Tech programmes offered at Amrita Schools of Engineering - Amritapuri, Bengaluru & Coimbatore.

Provisions
Tuition fee waiver ranging from 90% to 25 % is awarded to the students, based on their rank at the time of admission counseling.
A total of 300+ candidates are eligible for scholarship at the time of admission and continuation of scholarship in subsequent years would require meeting the minimum required CGPA during subsequent years of study.
A pass in 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination securing an aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with not less than 55% in each of these three subjects.

appear for the above examination in March/April of the current year and expect to secure
minimum marks as above, may also apply.

Selection:
Admission to B.Tech programme is only through Amrita Entrance Examination - Engineering conducted every year. Examination is conducted in two modes: Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and Pen & Paper Based Test (P&P).
CBT will be conducted in 3 time slots per day in multiple cities all over the Country.
P&P Test will be conducted from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM in all major cities in the states of Karnataka, Kerala and Tamilnadu.

Candidates can also register offline by using OMR applications from .The form can be obtained from designated post officies Dhanalaxmi / Federal Bank branches. From the counter of Amrita Schools of Engineering at Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore on producing a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Amrita School of Engineering payable at Coimbatore. Printed OMR application forms can also be obtained by post from the Admissions Coordinator, Amrita School of Engineering Coimbatore with a written request giving complete communication address, phone number and Email ID along with a Demand Draft as mentioned above. When a Demand Draft is used, candidate should write on the back of the Demand Draft, “B.Tech. Application (specify current year),” his / her "Name" and "Mobile Number."
