GIM Academic Excellence Scholarships

GIM has been steadily building its reputation as one of the top tier management institutes. GIM offers the Academic Excellence Scholarships for Indian Students in India for taking admissions into two-year full-time Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program. GIM Academic Excellence Scholarships is meant for candidates with outstanding scholarly achievements, ability to enrich the learning environment, potential for leadership and ability to make an impact during and after the program.

Scholarship Description :

Two categories of scholarships will be admissible to outstanding candidates who choose to apply under the scheme

(a) maximum of 22 students (including two students for Sir Ratan Tata Merit Scholarships) for the award of scholarship of Rs. 6 lakhs

(b) maximum of 15 students for the scholarship of Rs. 4 lakhs from amongst the applicants

Winners of Academic Excellence Scholarship will not be eligible for tuition fee waiver, extended by GIM to certain specified categories. As per the norms, those offered scholarships will have to submit the specified documents to ascertain their financial status. The scholarship will be disbursed in 2 installments; 50% in the first year and 50% in the second year. The continuation of scholarship in second year is subject to student securing a CGPA of 5.6 and above in the first year. The criteria and cut offs for award of Rs. 6 lakhs and Rs. 4 lakhs are different.

Eligibility Criteria :

Candidate offered admissions in the First merit list ONLY will be eligible to apply for the scheme. Applications for the scholarship shall mean that the student has chosen to accept all the terms of offer of scholarship

Terms & Conditions for the award of Scholarships:

Candidate will submit documents specified in offer letter to ascertain financial status of the aspirant (and immediate family members) duly attested by appropriate authority.
The candidates will pay Rs. 2 lakhs as non-refundable deposit by stipulated date (electronically)
The non- refundable deposit and the scholarship awarded shall be adjusted against the fee payable, as decided by the Institute.
The award of Scholarships is at the sole discretion of GIM

Selection Process

The scholarships will be awarded only on the basis of First Merit List.
