Summer Fellowship Program is provided by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras. This Fellowship will provide an opportunity to talented Engineering, Management, Sciences and Humanities students to enhance awareness and interest in high quality academic research through a goal oriented summer mini-project undertaken at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.

Course Specializations/Departments : Aerospace Engg, Applied Mechanics, Bio Technology, Chemical Engg, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engg, Engineering Design, Electrical Engg, Mechanical Engg, Metallurgical & Materials Engg, Ocean Engg., Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Humanities & Social Sciences, Management Studies

Provisions

The Fellowship is for a period of two months and provides:

Fellowship will be paid as a stipend of Rs.6000/- per month

Eligibility Criteria :

Candidates of third year B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engg)/Integrated M.E./M.Tech. program
First year of ME/M.Tech/M.Sc./M.A, MBA
Excellent academic background in terms of high ranks in university examinations

Candidates should submit their academic performance and achievement including papers presented at seminars, projects executed, design contests participated, score/rank in Mathematics Olympiad and any other awards/distinctions obtained.

Students of IITs are not eligible to apply.

How to apply

Candidates can apply online mode at institute official website https://sfp.iitm.ac.in/.There is no need to send hard copy to IIT Madras. Candidates should generate a PDF file and keep it for reference.

Upload all the relevant data and enclosures through online. Candidates should also submit a Letter issued by the Head of the Institution certifying that the student is bonafide. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
