Kerala Directorate of Collegiate Education offers Aspire Scholarship to students pursuing 2nd year PG, M.Phil. and PhD in any recognized Educational Institution of Kerala Government Arts and Science Colleges / 6 Universities ( Kerala, MG, CUSAT, Sree Shankaracharya Sanskrit University, Calicut, Kannur)

The objective of the scheme is to award scholarships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of minority community so as to provide them better opportunities for higher education, increase their rate of attainment in higher education and enhance their employability.

Scholarship Rate

Scholarship will be given for the students according to their internship. Those pursuing internship inside Kerala state will receive Rs.8000/- per month and Rs.10,000 per month for pursuing internship outside Kerala State

For PG Students - 1 month Internship
For M.Phil Students - 2 months Internship
For PhD Students-4 months Internship.

Selected candidate will get the amount in two installments

Eligibility

Students should be studying in 2nd year PG/ M.Phil or PhD in any recognized Educational Institution of Kerala Government Arts and Science Colleges / 6 Universities ( Kerala, MG, CUSAT, Sree Shankaracharya Sanskrit University, Calicut, Kannur)
Students should be studying in any recognized Educational Institution of Kerala Government aided courses
Students should score 75% attendence in the 1st year
Students should score not less than 55% marks in PG course level

Application Procedure

Applications can be submitted online through Department of Collegiate Education (DCE) website http://www.dcescholarship.kerala.gov.in/.

Scholarship amount will be credited to the Bank Account of the candidates selected. So Applicant should have a Bank Account in his/her name in any one of State Bank of India, State Bank of Travancore, South Indian Bank or Federal Bank.
