Kerala Directorate of Collegiate Education offers Merit Scholarship to the Children of School Teachers for the Son/Daughters of Primary/Secondary School Teachers pursuing HSC/VHSC and under Graduate Course in Govt/Aided Arts and Science College.
The objective of the scheme is to award scholarships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of minority community so as to provide them better opportunities for higher education, increase their rate of attainment in higher education and enhance their employability.

The scheme is implemented through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP). It is mandatory for all students to apply online on the website i.e. www.scholarships.gov.in.
Applications can be submitted online through Department of Collegiate Education (DCE) website http://www.dcescholarship.kerala.gov.in/.
Scholarship amount will be credited to the Bank Account of the candidates selected. So Applicant should have a Bank Account in his/her name in any one of State Bank of India, State Bank of Travancore, South Indian Bank or Federal Bank.
