SD Ahuja Foundation has created a fund which will help few needy students to pursue a career in Art and support their talent, by providing a scholarship called SD Ahuja Foundation Art Scholarship. Scholarship is provided every year only for ten selected students for studying Fine Arts & Paintings in an Art Collage.

Scholarship Description :

SD Ahuja Foundation provides the scholarship amount of Rs. 3,000 per month i.e, Rs. 36,000 per annum. The scholarship is for one year period (12 months) only but may continue one more year, if the Foundation finds it worthwhile.

Eligibility

Final year students only studying Fine Arts & Paintings in an Art Collage granting degrees.

Selection

The decision of the SD Ahuja Foundation on selection of the Final year Students will be final and binding. The students who will be selected by the foundation will have their selected paintings displayed in the Ahuja Museum for Arts for 2 months. The selected paintings will not be returned to the students, but will be kept by the Foundation as part of the Foundation's collection. The students whose paintings are selected will have their details appear in the Ahuja Museum for Arts website

Application process

Students can download and submit their application form from Institute website and submit along with the painting . The students will have to submit

A painting to the Foundation to be selected.
The submitted painting has to be original.
The submitted painting should not be smaller than 12” X 12” or bigger than 36” X 48”.
The medium of the submitted painting can be oil, acrylic, pastel, charcoal, pen and ink or water colour
on canvas, board or paper.
Only painting will be accepted and not sculpture or other installation.

Papers to be submitted:

1 passport size photograph
All applicants have to provide an address proof.(Ration card/voter Id/councilor certificate/letter from the Principal,any one of such).
Students of School/College will have to provide identity card or Admit card.
If dependent, income proof of father.
Xerox of certificates of achievements.
