Tata Housing provides Tata Housing Scholarship for Meritorious Girl Students to complete their higher studies in Civil Engineering, Architecture and Construction Project Management. The aim of the Scholarship is to recognize, promote and financially assist the meritorious Girl Students belonging to economically weaker sections to complete their higher education and be a part of the flourishing Real Estate Industry.

Scholarship Amount

This Scholarship will be done towards payment of admission fees, tuition fees, library fees, exam fees, purchase of books etc. Girl students will get reimbursement of expenses up to Rs.60 thousand annually on submission of appropriate proofs. In case the student is in receipt of any other scholarships, the differential amount will only be reimbursed. The student will continue to get scholarship in the 3rd and 4th year of Engg/Arch and 2nd year of MBA, on the condition that she secures at least 60% marks in aggregate in the preceding academic year.

Eligibility Criteria :

Girls studying in 2nd year of Civil Engineering/Architecture in any 4 years-degree course such as B. Tech/B.E/B. Arch in any institute located in India and affiliated to any University recognized by law in India. They should have secured at least 50 percent marks in aggregate in the First Year.
Girl students studying 1st year of full-time 2 years MBA course in Construction Project Management in any institute located in India and affiliated to any University, recognised by law in India. They should have secured at least 50 percent marks in aggregate in the qualifying degree examination.
Annual family income of the parents/guardians should be less than Rs.3 Lakh (Rupees three lakh only) from all sources.

Selection procedure

Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of merit and need. All other things being equal, preference will be given to students from scheduled caste (SC) and scheduled tribe (ST) communities.
