SET is an aptitude test and is objective in nature. The SET is conducted
in two sessions, , morning and afternoon. The SET has 5 different papers;
namely General, Design, Law, Engineering and Health Sciences. A candidate
may choose to apply for one paper in each session. Each question has four
options as answers and carries one mark for correct answer. There is no
negative marking for wrong answers.
The duration for SET is 150 minutes. All sections are mandatory.

SET is conducted in two sessions for FIVE different entrance tests for different
institutes. A candidate may apply to take one test from morning or afternoon
session or two tests one from morning and one from afternoon session.
SET Registration
The following checklist is required for registration
Candidates passport size photo in .jpg, .jpeg, .png or .gif format (the
file size should not be more than 100 kb)
Candidates marks in SSC
Candidates marks in HSC (Please choose "Appeared" in case if awaiting
the result)
Candidates choice of Test (you will not be allowed to change the test after
the registration is completed)
To register for SET,
A candidates can pay to an institute through the SET Website (www.set-test.org).
- To apply for admission to an institute, a candidate must select for the
relevant SET paper. For example, to apply to Symbiosis Law School, pay for
Law paper at SET
- Candidates applying to Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT), Symbiosis
Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS), Symbiosis College Of Nursing (SCON) with
other than SET Score should refer to the respective institute Website and
apply.
Click on "New Registration".
Read the Instructions carefully and then click on the 'I Agree' button
to accept the Terms and Conditions.
Fill in the details requested on the page displayed.
Click on "Save and Continue" to choose a password and the hint
questions that will be asked if you forget your password. Then click on "Submit"
to register. The screen will now display your SET ID.
After successful mini registration, you will get an email containing your
SET ID and password. You may continue to complete the form by entering the
remaining details requested. On your completion click on "Save and Continue".
Now the Application will redirect to Payment page.
Candidates have the option of paying through any one of the following five
(5) payment methods:
Online Payment Through Credit Card
- You may pay directly through either Master or Visa card online. Follow the
instructions given on the SET Website.
Online Payment Through Net Banking
- You may transfer your SET test fee to Symbiosis Test Secretariat account
using Net Banking option.
Online Payment Through Indian Bank Net Banking 3. ONLINE PAYMENT THROUGH
INDIAN BANK NET BANKING:
- You may pay your SET test fee to Symbiosis Test Secretariat account. You
can also pay the application fee for various institutes through Indian Bank
Internet Banking option.
Cash
- This 'Payment Advice' form is presented in three parts. Pay the requisite
amount in cash at Axis Bank or Indian Bank branches in your city. Refer to
the list of branches on the Website. The bank will return two parts of the
‘payment advice’ form to you. The ‘student copy’ is your receipt.
- Sign the Symbiosis copy of the ‘Payment Slip’ form stamped by Axis Bank
or Indian Bank and send it to:-

Demand Draft
- Get a crossed demand draft for the requisite amount from any Nationalized
Bank in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.
- Sign the single copy of the ‘payment advice’ for Demand Draft and send it
along with Demand Draft to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat at,
Symbiosis International University
Symbiosis Test Secretariat,

The Symbiosis Test Secretariat will authenticate the payment details and will
send you an email confirming the payment. Only after the payment is authenticated,
would you be able to view your Admit card.
Note: Please note that Symbiosis Test Secretariat will not
be responsible for non-delivery on any delay on the part of courier / postal
services.
It is also mandatory to complete registration by filling up the on line application
form of desired institute for desired programme before the closing date of application
of the respective institute.
The SET registration fee and institute (s) programme registration payment are
non-refundable. Please note that claims for refund of the SET registration fee
as well as institute programme registration payment will not be entertained
on any account.
SET Admit Card
The SET Test Admit Card should be printed from the SET Website.
Admit Card, along with Photo Identity proof, should be brought to the Test
Centre at the time of the test. An acceptable photo identity is any one of the
following:
Passport
Driving license
College/ Institute Identity Card
Credit card with photograph
Voter ID Card
Pan Card
AADHAR Card (UID)
