The candidates can register for the entrance test in the following modes:
a) Spot Registration
Candidates can appear in person at the Co-ordinating Centres with a copy of the X Std. mark sheet, XII Std. mark sheet or 3 YEARS Diploma certificate and obtain the hall ticket. The SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu have to produce a copy of the community certificate for availing fee concession.
b) Internet Registration
Candidates can register through internet by filling up the application form, download and send it to "The Secretary, TANCET, Examination Centre, Anna University Chennai,
Chennai - 600 025" with the following enclosed:
i) Copy of X Std. or equivalent mark sheet
ii) Copy of XII Std. mark sheet or 3 YEARS Diploma certificate
iii) The SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu should enclose an attested copy of the permanent community certificate (card format) issued by the competent authority of Government of Tamil Nadu.
iv) Demand Draft.
Applications (for Internet Registration) sent by post should be mailed sufficiently early so that the applications reach Anna University, Chennai. The university will not be responsible for any delay / loss of the application in transit.
Candidates have to appear for the Entrance Test at the allotted centre at their own cost and risk. A centre once allotted cannot be altered for any reasons.
