Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) : Examination

The examination pattern of Engineering, Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) has been designed according to the Medical and Engineering streams. The University conducts separate tests for these streams. 

The general examination pattern for EAMCET is given in the following lines.

The University has set a qualifying percentage of marks in EAMCET exam. For the general category candidates, the qualifying percentage is 25%, that is, minimum 40 marks out of total 160. There are no qualifying percentage criteria for the candidates of Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST), but they have limitation of reserved seats.

Candidates interested in applying for Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) course in Andhra Pradesh are advised to take “National Aptitude Test in Architecture” (NATA) an online exam conducted by Council of Architecture, New Delhi. For details, candidates are requested to refer to website: www.nata.in. A separate notification will be issued for counseling for students seeking admission in Bachelor of Architecture course

Medium of Entrance Test 
The question paper contains questions in 'English' and 'Telugu' medium. Candidates, who have studied the qualifying examination in Urdu medium and wish to avail assistance for translating the questions into Urdu, will be allotted a Test Centre at Hyderabad only.
