KEAM (Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical Entrance Examination) : Application  Procedure

(a) Online submission of application is required to apply for the Entrance Examinations/ Allotments for admission to all the courses (Medical, Engineering and Architecture) Candidates should send only one application for all courses under KEAM and for MBBS & BDS (NEET – UG). If a candidate submits more than one application his/ her candidature is liable to be cancelled. 

(b) All candidates are required to apply online through the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in for the Entrance Examinations/ Allotments for admission to Medical, Agriculture, Veterinary, Fisheries,  Engineering and Architecture Courses.

Candidate can pay the requisite amount of application fee in either of the two following methods: 

Note:- Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates whose annual family income is below Rs.40,000/- can have Security Card, Prospectus and Envelope at free of cost from the District Offices of the Scheduled Tribes Development Department on production of Community Certificate and Income Certificate. 

(c) Candidates opting DUBAI (UAE) as the Centre: Candidates who choose ‘DUBAI’ as their centre for Entrance Examinations, should remit an amount of a requisite sum as Centre fee along with the print out of their application, by way of Demand Draft drawn on a Nationalized Bank in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram. Such candidates should enclose Demand Drafts for a requisite amount  as Application fee and also the centre fee along with the application. The candidates opting Dubai centre should note that the examinations are conducted as per Indian Standard Time (IST).

The Print out of the Application and other relevant documents to be submitted with the Application are to be sent in the printed envelope bearing the address of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, by Hand Delivery/ Registered Post/ Speed 
Post. Applications will be received in the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations on holidays also.  Belated applications will be rejected. Candidates are therefore advised to apply well in advance. The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will not be responsible for any postal delay.

Copy of the printout of the Application form must be retained for future reference.

Applicant should ensure the following before sending the printout of the application form: 

  1. The applicant and parent/ guardian have signed the form at the specified space. 
  2. All certificates furnished are properly filled in and signed by the competent authority and affixed office seal at specified place. 
  3. The photograph uploaded online and the photograph pasted in the printout of application form are identical and properly attested by Head of the Institution or Gazetted Officer of Government. 
  4. The applicant should select the course/ courses which he/she desires to study while applying online. 
  5. The candidate should maintain confidentiality of the key number and keep it in safe custody till the end of allotment process.

Admit Card: The Admit Cards of Entrance Examinations can be downloaded from the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in. The candidates will have to enter their Application number and Date of Birth provided in the application form in order to download the admit card. The printout of the admit card thus obtained will have to be produced at the time of examination. Admit Cards will not be sent by post from the office to the candidate. 

Defective applications: No memo will be sent by post in the case of defective applications. The defects in the applications will be displayed on the homepage of the candidate while attempting to download the admit card. Defects if any, should be rectified within the dates specified in the notification pertaining to the download of admit cards. 

Fee concession/ Scholarship:
Candidates belonging to ‘Keralite’ category and who wish to be considered for any fee concession/ scholarship/ any other benefit based on the annual family income, that may be announced by the Government/ College/ Admitting authority at any time after the submission of application, should submit the income certificate from the concerned authorities in the prescribed format, at the time of submission of application itself, to avail of such concessions. Income certificates attached separately or produced after submission of application will not be considered for granting any such concession.
