The earnings of political scientists depend on their education and
experience as well as on the location and kind of position. Those with
masters degree can expect a better position and salary compared to bachelors.
However, main constraint is the performance rather than education.
In government sector pay scale is quite good. One can expect a starting
salary around Rs.10,000 to Rs.12,000. In colleges/universities
too remuneration is attractive you can get Rs.12,000 to Rs.25,000 depending
upon seniority.
