Sahu Jain Trust is a philanthropic organisation founded by Smt. Rama Jain and Sahu Shanti Prasad Jain belongs to The Times of India Group. The trust provides overseas loan scholarships to selected students for technical subjects to be undertaken by graduates/post graduates in foreign countries. The loan amount is refundable in interest free soft installments after completion of studies.

Scholarship Amount

Loan amount is maximum Rs.1, 00,000/- for selected student.

The sanctioned amount of scholarship will be remitted and paid when the student furnishes :

a certificate of admission from the head of the institution at which he is to pursue his studies.
a photostat copy of the air ticket
the bond form duly signed.

Deviation from this may be considered by the Trust on reasonable grounds.

Eligibility

The students need be an Indian and with uniformly brilliant academic record.

How to Apply

Sahu Jain Trust Scholarship application forms are available free of cost on the website www.sahujaintrust.timesofindia.com.

Application forms are also available by post by sending a "9x4" self-addressed stamped (Rs.10/-) envelope to "The Secretary, Sahu Jain Trust, 18 Institutional Area, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003.

Students whose result is not announced at the time of sending the application form will have to send the certificate (duly attested by the Head of the institution) as soon as it is received by them. Their application will be considered only after receiving the certificate.

Applications should reach the office of the Trust latest by 31st May every year and the committee if the Trust finalises the allotment of scholarship by the 1st week of August.
