Lila Poonawalla Foundation is an Educational Trust in India whose vision is to contribute to the empowerment of Indian women by supporting academically outstanding and financially deserving girls, through scholarship to pursue higher education. The foundation gives Scholarships to the girls from Pune District for School Level Education and Post Graduation, as well as girls pursuing Under Graduation in Pune District.

Lila Poonawalla Foundation scholarships (LPF Scholarships) are merit-cum-need based scholarships, and the scholarship amount for each girl is decided depending on the financial needs of the girl. If a girl student is found to have the merit, finance is extended to her with no conditions attached, and the scholarship is not a loan, but an outright grant.

The criteria for selection are well defined and deserving girls are selected by the trustees and educationists from Pune. Girls with outstanding academic records are eligible. LPF awards scholarships to women only, in varied disciplines of post graduation, graduation, and diploma courses, as well as school education. These scholarships are valid for the entire period of the course undertaken by the girls, subject to continuous, excellent academic performance.

How to Apply

Application Forms for all the scholarships must have to be obtained from the office of Lila Poonawalla Foundation. Application forms are available in the website, but it is only for reference purpose. Downloaded forms from the website will not be entertained in the LPF office.
