Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) : Eligibility

For Admission to Professional Degree courses, an applicant must fulfill the following eligibility criteria. 

Educational

The candidate must have passed HSSC  (10+2) Examination of Goa Board or an examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi or any equivalent examination and must have obtained minimum percentage of marks in specified subjects. 

The candidates who have appeared/are appearing at HSSC or equivalent examination, before the start of academic session are also eligible to appear at GCET. 

Nationality
Candidates desirous to appear to GCET should be an Indian citizen. Non- resident Indians holding Inidan passport may also apply for seats reserved under NRI category. Foreign Nationals and Persons of Indian Origin holding non-Indian passport must apply to Govt. of India.

Age
Applicants to degree courses in Medicine & Dentistry must have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the academic year of admission to become eligible for admission to first year. No age limit, minimum or maximum is specified for admission to Engineering, Pharmacy and Architecture.
