M.Sc (regular) - 5 year integrated M.Sc. in Photonics
Eligibility: Pass in Plus Two examination of the State of Kerala with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects or any other examination accepted as equivalent thereto securing a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.
Duration: 10 semesters
M. Tech in Optoelectronics and Laser Technology
Eligibility: Candidates should have a Masters degree in Physics/Electronics or B Tech or equivalent degree/AMIE/AMIETE in Electronics and Communication Engineering/Electronics Engineering/Electrical Engineering from any recognized University or Institution. The candidates should have a valid GATE score in Physics, electronics and in electrical engineering.
Duration: 24 months that consists of 4 semesters.
M. Phil. in Photonics
Eligibility: Students having a masters degree with 55 % marks or equitant CGPA in Physics or Electronic Science from Cochin University of Science and Technology or any other qualification from other universities, recognised as equivalent by the Cochin University of Science and Technology can apply for the M. Phil. programme
Duration: Two-semester course with the duration of one year.
PhD Programme
Eligibility: Candidates should have a masters degree (M. Sc or M. Tech usually above 50%) in Physics, Electronics, Optoelectronics, Communication, Electrical or related fields from Cochin University of Science and Technology or any other qualification from other universities. Candidates having NET score can join at any time of the year.
