STaRT ( Scholarship and Talent Reward Test) is India’s Biggest Benchmarking Platform for students of Class V1 to XI of all streams. Initiated in 2011, STaRT is an aptitude cum bench-marking test to be conducted by Resonance - one of the premier coaching institutes of the country located at Kota, Rajasthan. STaRT aims to reach out, spot, reward and nurture talented students across the country and support them in fulfilling their career aspirations. For a sincere and aspiring student, STaRT would provide a platform to showcase his/her talent to the nation which will boost his/her confidence to perform well in competitive examinations ahead and make a bright career.
The STaRT would be conducted for the students of Class-V1 to Class-XI of Private, Government and Government aided schools (All Boards) of any medium in Indian Territory and Schools outside India affiliated to CBSE Board Only. The aim of this scholarship exam is to help students to gain proficiency in main stream subjects but also to have wider & in-depth knowledge in terms of self-assessment for the subjects.
STaRT Awards
STaRT Awards will be given for total 8 Categories (Class 6th to 10th, 11th Mathematics, 11th Biology and 11th Commerce).
STaRT has been segregated into 8 categories based on class and stream of students as :
STaRT Reward
A total of 5000 prizes, worth Rs. 1.40 crore will be distributed among the short listed candidates who had participated in STaRT. In each prize Category, there will be 7 prizes, one each from Class 6 to 10 & 11 (Maths, Bio, Com),

STaRT
The Scholarship Exam would be conducted in English & Hindi. 80 questions have to be answered in 120 minutes. 3 marks will be awarded for every correct answer and 1 mark would be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Candidates can register themselves for STaRT through online/offline method.
Students applying online have to fill up the application in online mode only but the student registering at the school or resonance study centre can fill up the application form online or offline. They should take a DD for a requisite amount in favor of "Resonance Edventures Pvt. Ltd." and payable at Kota.
