The Brochure's and Application forms are advertised on the institutes website from the second week of July. The last date of receipt of applications is usually first week of September and written examination is usually held on the last sunday of November.
The candidates are supposed to apply online and for this they have to follow certain instructions. Before applying candidates should make sure that they have a Demand draft of the applicable amount favouring INDIAN INSTITUTE OF FOREIGN TRADE payable at Delhi. The candidates have to fill in the particulars of this Demand Draft in the online application form. Once the online application form has been completed and submitted the candidates are required to take a printout of the same on A4 size paper in Portrait layout.(If Barcode doesnot print properly,please refresh (Press F5)then print). The candidates should put their signature in the box provided for this purpose. Then the candidates should paste in their photograph in the space provided for the same. The candidates are required to write their full name, address and application number on the reverse of Demand Draft. This demand draft should be enclosed along with the application form. The candidates should also enclose the requisite certificates if belonging to SC/ST/PH category. They should also enclose two self addresses adhesive labels.
Those candidates who belong to Foreign/ NRI/ Children of NRI category should attach copy of their GMAT score. ig they don not have a GMAT score they can also submit the same separately by 31st march of the year of Admission quoting their application number.
After the receipt of above application form and necessary enclosures, the Programme Brochure is sent to the candidate through courier/ post. This also confirms the receipt of application form in the institute. After the receipt of this form in the institute the online database is updated and the candidates can see the status of their application online. For checking the status of application online the candidates should remember the password and application number.
Admit Cards - Applicants who do not receive their admit cards by the stipulated date may send a mail to the concerned authorities giving details of their Application Number, Name of the Applicant as given in the Application Form, Father's Name, Date of Birth. Such candidates will be provided their roll no and the venue of test with complete address through mail. They are expected to reach the prescribed Exam Centre well in time with a printout of the mail and one of the following documents.
i) Passport
ii) Election I-card
iii) College I-Card
All such candidates will be allowed to appear in the exam.
