Australian Universities provide wide range of scholarships to International meritorious students which help them to fund their studies. The grant of scholarship is basically on merit and the students have to demonstrate their eligibility for the scholarship they are applying for. There are no qualifying exams for scholarships in Australia.

Scholarships for coursework program mostly covers part of the tuition fees, however research programs provide funding up to 100% for tuition fee and good amount of money to cover living expenses.

Apart from the university and college scholarships, Australian Government scholarships are also available for international students. Government scholarships are offered in educational sectors covering vocational education and training, undergraduate and postgraduate study and research and student exchanges. The criteria of the Government scholarship is quite competitive as compared to university scholarships. This scholarships is not available for international students undertaking English language training specifically in Australia.
