CGFNS (Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools ) International is an immigration-neutral nonprofit organization, global recognized as an authority on credentials evaluation of the education, registration and licensure of nurses, health care and other professionals worldwide. CGFNS International is comprised of the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools, the International Commission on Healthcare Professions and the International Consultants of Delaware. CGFNS protects the public by ensuring that nurses and other health care professionals educated in countries other than the United States are eligible and qualified to meet licensure, immigration and other practice requirements in the United States.

For that, CGFNS offers an important training programme named CGFNS Certification Program (CP) to impart the necessary skills and competency required for nurses to obtain registration / licensure as a nurse in the United States.

Other programs include the Credential Evaluation Service (CES) and the Credential Verification Service for New York State (CVS-NY). CES reports analyze the qualifications of multiple levels of nursing professionals who are educated outside of the United States and who wish to pursue licensure or academic admission in the United States. CVS-NY is the report analyzing the educational qualifications of those who are applying for licensure as a registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, physical therapist, physical therapy assistant, occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant.
